Ojoma Ochai has been named as the new Managing Director for CcHub.
According to a statement from the Co-creation Hub, the innovation centre’s new MD takes the place of its former CEO, Bosun Tijani who has joined the government of Nigeria President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Minister for Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy.
Ochai was previously the Managing Partner at the Creative Economy Practice of CcHUB.
“She has been an influential figure in cultivating Nigeria’s burgeoning creative industries. Her leadership and expertise in fostering innovative solutions within the creative economy have been integral to the practice’s success,” says CcHub.
“With almost 20 years of progressive experience in the creative and technology sectors, Ojoma Ochai has emerged as a pioneering force, spearheading groundbreaking initiatives that have propelled Africa’s creative industries to new heights.”
In 2019, Nigeria-based CcHub acquired Kenya-based iHub in a deal whose transaction details remain undisclosed.
With her appointment as the head of CcHub, Ojoma will also be the leader of the Kenyan outfit.
