Tecno sub-brand Phantom’s latest flagship device, the Phantom X2, is set for its launch in Kenya in just under a week.
In the meantime, those itching to be among the first to lay their hands on the device can do so at any of the following outlets:
- Safaricom’s e-commerce platform Masoko (online)
- Safaricom retail stores across the country (physical)
- The (Tecno) Phantom website (online)
- Tecno and Tecno-branded retail stores across the country (physical)
- E-commerce platform Jumia Kenya – Tecno’s official store on the platform (online)
Tecno is providing various incentives to would-be buyers of its device.
Upon placing a pre-order for either of the devices (Kshs 6,000 for the standard Phantom X2 5G and Kshs 8,000 for the Phantom X2 Pro 5G) at Tecno outlets online or offline, one gets a leather backpack worth Kshs 3,000 and a pair of Tecno’s B1 Pro headsets worth just under Kshs 4,000. At the time of collecting the device, after its launch and upon payment of the balance, one gets a free Tecno smartwatch worth Kshs 6,000.
For those who place their orders at physical Safaricom retail stores as well as online, the goodie bag includes a free Tecno smartwatch as well as 30 gigabytes of mobile data.
Pricing for the Tecno Phantom X2 series starts at well over Kshs 70,000. Word is, the Phantom X2 Pro, which is the pinnacle of Tecno’s innovations at this time, could cost as much as more than Kshs 100,000!
The pre-order period runs through to 18th January, a day after the device’s official launch in Kenya.
