Host Africa, a South African hosting company, has entered the Kenyan market with its acquisition of EAC Directory, a Kenya-based web-hosting company that has been running for nearly two decades.
According to a statement from the company, Host Africa has fully acquired the Kenyan company.
EAC Directory’s Managing Director, Wycliffe Onduu, will stay on as the head of the company to steer it in its new phase. The same is said to apply to the existing EAC Directory team of staffers.
“To ensure hosting standards remain on par within the Kenyan market, EAC’s team of local experts will remain on board. The former EAC offices will assume a new mast while conforming to the HOSTAFRICA standard and ethos,” the statement reads.
The deal was concluded and made public on 1st December 2022.
