Revue, the newsletter tool for writers and publishers that Twitter acquired at the start of 2021 is shutting down.
According to communication that was sent out to Revue publishers, the service will cease to exist after 18th January 2023.
Revue is offering newsletter publishers an easy way to get their subscriber lists, analytics and past newsletter issues. For those with paid newsletters, Revue will automatically terminate memberships to avoid unnecessary billing after the service is discontinued.
Revue’s demise is closely linked to the turmoil at Twitter since its acquisition by billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk in October which has seen scores of Twitter employees exit the company.
