Global electronics trade show IFA is set to run from 1st to 5th September next year, maintaining a long tradition of the weeklong exhibition that brings together some of the world’s biggest product makers, being held in the German capital, Berlin.
The announcement of when IFA 2023 will be held comes just weeks after news of a new joint venture founded by gfu Consumer & Home Electronics GmbH together with Clarion Events Ltd, one of the world’s leading independent event organizers, IFA Management GmbH, which will oversee the trade show.
The news also comes less than a month since the departure of Messe Berlin CEO Martin Ecknig. Ecknig had taken over from Christian Göke in January 2021.
Last year, with IFA 2022, marked the return of the trade show after a 2-year hiatus occasioned by the global pandemic. The show attracted over 160,000 attendees.
IFA, short for International Funkausstellung, has been held in the German capital since 1924.
