As expected, Lipa Later has announced its acquisition of SkyGarden, the troubled Kenyan e-commerce platform.
Lipa Later CEO Eric Muli has confirmed that the SkyGarden team has since moved to its offices. However, according to Muli, SkyGarden will maintain its autonomy with the two companies collaborating on common areas of interest for their customers while keeping their distinct identities and operations.
Details of the acquisition like the sums of money involved, were not disclosed.
